Honey Bee Hearth Preschool

Honey Bee Hearth Preschool is a cozy, home-based program in Corte Madera. We provide children the opportunity to play, explore, make new friends, care for our environment, and grow into their unique self. Our program is inspired by the principles of Waldorf education. We enjoy time indoors and outdoors with a daily rhythm consisting of play, storytelling, circle time, artistic activities, gardening, and meaningful work. We paint, chop veggies for our soup, grind oats for our porridge, feed the chickens, and more.  In the afternoon, after our busy morning, we rest, have a hearty snack, and engage in self-directed activities. 

Ages: 2 yr 6 mo – 5 yr.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9-1 with aftercare until 4.

Program size:  limited to 6 children and one teacher.
