BBQ Drumsticks with Brown-Sugar Sauce

My husband is my best critic in the kitchen - he loves bold flavors and raved about this sauce. We used Trader Joe's organic ketchup which doesn't include any high fructose corn syrup--I think it made all the difference.

1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs cider vinegar
3 pounds chicken legs
salt and pepper to taste

Family Concert at the Berkeley Festival and Exhibition

June 2, 2008

Renaissance faire musiciansEvery two years UC Berkeley presents the Berkeley Festival and Exhibition, a week-long celebration of early music featuring renowned musicians from around the world. Early music, if you're not familiar with the term, refers to music from the middle ages through approximately the end of the 18th century, played on instruments of the period and using period performance practice. While much of this may not be all that interesting to kids, they usually present at least one family friendly concert.
