Join author Mac Barnett and illustrator Christian Robinson under the white tent at the farmers' market to celebrate the launch of their new picture book Leo. Mac and Christian will read us the story, then we'll draw with pavement chalk together and play at being worthy knights.
Leo is the story of a friendly ghost who likes to draw and makes delicious snacks. But most people can't even see him. When a new family moves into his home and Leo's efforts to welcome them are misunderstood, Leo decides it is time to leave and see the world. That is how he meets Jane, a kid with a tremendous imagination and an open position for a worthy knight.
