Join rangers for a fun mid-morning hike at Deer Island to discover the local wildlife and unique views of this wonderful preserve. This event is ideal for all ages. Degree of difficulty: Easy. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring water. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Rain will cancel. Meet at the gate on Deer Island Ln in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Olive Ave and left onto Deer Island Ln. The gate is on your right.
