Free Fishing in the City for Kids--McNears Beach

Bring the kids 5-15 for a day of fishing. There will be 45 minute clinics that offer instruction in the basics of fishing including knots, casting, rigging, safety, ethics and urban runoff. All equipment and tackle is available to participants and anglers are required to use rods provided. There is no charge for the clinics. Each adult may bring up to 2 children and a driver's license is required for rod loan. The event is free and offered on a first-come, first served basis. Clinic is from 8-10 am, fishing until 11:30 am.
