Miss Representation Benefit Screening for Beyond Hunger

DATE : Documentary film Miss Representation will be screened on Wednesday, May 2nd, at the Marin County Day School, located at 5221 Paradise Drive, Corte Madera, California. Doors open at 6:15PM, followed by an introduction from Beyond Hunger and the film screening at 6:30PM. The film challenges the media's limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls, which make it difficult for women to achieve leadership positions and for the average woman to feel powerful herself.
