Prenatal Yoga Class

PRENATAL YOGA AT The Parents Center with Stacie Prenatal yoga addresses the changing needs of the body and growing baby and prepares the mind for labor. Restores energy and centers the mother to be. The benefits are limitless during this stage of life.

On-going: Fridays 10-11am.

Where: Parents Center above Hellers (www.theparentscenter.com) for Children 514 Fourth St. San Rafael, Between Irwin and Grand

Fee: $50 for 4 classes (to be used within 2 months) $15 drop in. Sliding scale for those with financial need.

What to bring: A yoga mat or towel. Any cushions or blankets you may want to be comfortable. Wear comfortable clothes you can move and stretch in.

Class includes: • Yoga postures & sequences specifically for pregnancy • Meditations, songs & chants to help mothers prepare for a positive birth experience • Techniques for relaxation & stress reduction •A conscious approach to conception, pregnancy, labor & delivery and mothering • Network and support with other moms to be Instructor: Stacie Dooreck is Nationally Certified since 1995 in Hatha Yoga and prenatal modifications in the Sivananda and Gentle Integral Yoga lineage, was certified as a Massage therapist including prenatal massage (2002) from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics and most recently trained to teach prenatal yoga by the Khalasa Way (Prenatal Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan).
