Summer Service Leaders

Looking to do something meaningful this summer? Make friends, build leadership skills, and make a difference in the community! Summer Service Leaders will partner with Audoban Canyon Ranch and be involved in a week long exciting outdoors service project. On the last day of camp leaders will be rewarded for their hard work by spending the day at Water World or Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Camp meets at 9am in the Mill Valley Community Center lobby, from there we will travel by van to the ranch and return by 4pm.

Redwood Empire Gymnastics Petaluma

Redwood Empire Gymnastics summer camps  offer field trips, group sports, arts and crafts, games and swimming and of course, gymnastics. Known for our safe and nurturing environment, instructors are caring professionals trained to encourage your child to have fun while participating in the camp program. Their 18,000 sq. ft., facility offers all campers the opportunity to enjoy many interesting activities. Kids ages 4-12 may sign up for summer camp. Kids may attend any combination of weeks, full days or half days. Four year olds may attend a half day only. Half days are offered Monday - Thursday. All field trips are full days only and on Fridays.

Petaluma Wildlife Museum Summer Camp

The Petaluma Wildlife Museum's Summer Camp program is fun for children ages 7-12. Campers can look forward to a fun summer of animals, educational games, and special guests! Curriculum includes animal behavior and biology, ecology, conservation, and natural science. Fun and educational games and activities designed to increase comprehension and retention are paired with each curriculum section. Presentations are scheduled with Classroom Safari and Reptile Rescue. Other presentations may also be included.

In addition, campers will gain hands on experience in exotic animal husbandry. Throughout the day, campers will handle and provide care to the museum animals under the supervision of our trained counselors.
Each session is Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm, $250 per session.

Petaluma Wildlife Museum Summer Camp

Enroll your child in our wild summer camp at the largest student operated museum in the United States. Your child can participate in our innovative program and learn about animals, science, and nature! Our Wildlife Camp features: Hundreds of live animals that we care for, fun animal presentations from Classroom Safari and Reptile Rescue, a variety of science and wildlife curriculum, fun crafts and games that emphasis the concepts we teach, and junior docent training on how to care for our animals and give the parents a mini tour. We have many returning campers but always love to see new faces! Each session is Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm, $250 per session, and is appropriate for ages 7-12.

Stapleton School Ballet Summer Camp

The Stapleton School of Performing Arts, Ballet division, is offering four different summer programs, for dancers as young as 3 years and up to 18 years. The Stapleton Theatre Company summer musical theatre production will be Hairspray.

Pyramid Gymnastics Camp

Pyramid Gymnastics is offering weekly morning and afternoon intensive summer camp sessions for boys and girls starting in June. The morning summer camps are 10 am-noon, Monday-Thursday and are for children six year of age and older. The afternoon summer camps are 45 minutes or 1-hour classes, Monday-Friday for ages Pre-K through 6th grade. The Pyramid summer camps introduce kids to real gymnastics where they'll receive instruction on the six Olympic events for men and the four Olympic events for women. Campers have an opportunity to develop their coordination , strength, flexibility and balance with in a safe and fun environment. Check back soon for more camp info.

Crissy Field Center Summer Camps

Their two-week day camps are designed to give children in-depth experiences in their urban environment and local national park. Camp hours are 9 am–4 pm. Check their website for more 2013 info.

Optional Extended Care is available from 8–8:50 am and 4–5:30 pm. Through a rich combination of outdoor investigation, field outings, and fun hands-on projects, campers learn about important ecological concepts and issues.

San Francisco Zoo Camp

Registration opens February 13, 2013

At their wildly popular Zoo Camp, children spend a whole week at the Zoo learning about the animals, their habitats and how we care for them. Children ages 4 years old to entering 7 grade will be surrounded by more than 200 species of animals and will gain an appreciation of our natural world through fun and interactive play. Hours for Pre-K/Kindergarten are from 9 am-noon and 1-4 pm. The summer camp runs from June 3 through August 16, 2013.
