Crissy Field Center Summer Camps

Their two-week day camps are designed to give children in-depth experiences in their urban environment and local national park. Camp hours are 9 am–4 pm. Check their website for more 2013 info.

Optional Extended Care is available from 8–8:50 am and 4–5:30 pm. Through a rich combination of outdoor investigation, field outings, and fun hands-on projects, campers learn about important ecological concepts and issues.

San Francisco Zoo Camp

Registration opens February 13, 2013

At their wildly popular Zoo Camp, children spend a whole week at the Zoo learning about the animals, their habitats and how we care for them. Children ages 4 years old to entering 7 grade will be surrounded by more than 200 species of animals and will gain an appreciation of our natural world through fun and interactive play. Hours for Pre-K/Kindergarten are from 9 am-noon and 1-4 pm. The summer camp runs from June 3 through August 16, 2013.

Walt Disney Discovery Summer Camp

Mark your calendars for the 2013 Youth Summer Programs at The Walt Disney Family Museum. Our programs are designed to encourage imagination and creative development in a fun and safe environment. Using traditional art mediums as well as the latest computer technology, each program explores aspects of art, animation, and filmmaking through innovative projects and hands-on activities. This summer of memorable adventures is not to be missed!

Animator Boot Camp Summer Intensive

10 days M-F, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: 11-13

July 22 – Aug 2, 2013
Fee: $650 members, $720 non-members

So you think you want to be an animator? Join us for this two-week intensive focusing on how animated films are produced. The intensive will culminate in a film festival and gallery-style showing of projects. Participants will come away with project portfolios and a DVD compilation of their animation work. Supervised program post-care from 4-5:30pm is available for an additional $80.

Novato Youth Center Summer Camp

Weekly youth (for 1st-5th graders) selected themes with activities including: Field Trips, Athletics, the Arts and the biggest and Best Playground in Novato, with a Climbing Wall and 14 foot tower! 23,000 sq. foot facility includes a full size gymnasium, art room, gamesroom, kitchen/dining room, classrooms, library and 4 outdoor playgrounds. The NYC has been specializing in Youth Development for over 34 years, and also offers summer programs for 0 to 5 year olds and middle school youth.

“Remember when Summer was just for FUN?” Join us this Summer for some good, old-fashion camp fun!

For the younger kids each week is built around a new theme explored through arts & crafts, singing, dancing, building, cooking, playing, yoga, physical activity and lots of fun and laughter. A weekly "Special Guest” will entertain with pirates, puppets, guitars, magic, or bubbles. Every Friday will be Splish-Splash Water Play day on the field. Camp Safari (3-4 years), Kinder Camp (Entering Kindergarten), and Camp Imagine (6-9 years) 9am- 1pm

The older kids can go to Top Gun Sports Camp (7-12 years) and Top Gun II (12-14 years) where they play every sport all day long. Once per week they take a field trip to a Giant’s or A’s game, Qzar, Driven Raceway etc. Walk to COM pool to swim Fri. 9am–3/5pm

Ross Valley Summer School Site #1

For kids entering 1st-6th grade. There are over 40 classes taught by professional instructors-- sculpture, cooking, computer animation, weird science, art galore, gencing, guitar, jewelry, painting, tennis, golf, lacross, sewing, reading, and math, Over 10 different sports classes, 5 different dance classes and 10 art classes. Marinwood Summer Camps

This is Marin’s most popular day camp! Marinwood Recreation offers traditional day camps, sports based camps through the Marinwood Sports Academy, as well as a wide variety of specialty camps. Day Camps include weekly themes to add variety, fun and excitement through the summer. Some of our most popular themes include Wild Wild West Week, Far Out Fantasy Week and Color Explosion week. Our highly trained staff will make this a summer to remember.

You can also add swim lessons or tennis camps to your Camper's day. Special events will be included weekly. Lunches are available for purchase on a day-to-day or weekly basis (please see our website for lunch information). Camp registration begins February 14th and space fills quickly.

Marin Primary & Middle School Summer Camp

Preschool Camp at MP&MS provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment in which children can make new friends, enjoy new activities, create works of art, learn new things, and experience age-appropriate independence. Campers will enjoy arts and crafts, singing and dancing, games, stories, science activities, cooking, nature walks, and time outside on our beautiful campus.  Preschool campers will enjoy playing and learning with their friends while participating in a great camp program designed by the staff to keep the young campers moving, laughing, and enjoying the summer.
