Fun Spring Break Camps in Marin and Beyond

studio 4 artLooking for something fun for the kids to do over the upcoming spring break? Check out some of the great day camp programs here in Marin. Many of these camps offer drop-in sessions for last-minute fun over the break, as well as before- and after-care.

We've also included a list of community centers in Marin, all of which offer spring break camps and classes for kids.

Marin Community Centers

Southern Marin Camps

  • Andrew's Camp
    Location: 400 Tamal Plaza, Corte Madera
    Dates: April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–5 pm; extended hours 8–9 am & 5–6 pm
    Grades: 1st–8th grades

  • Bay Area Discovery Museum
    Location: 557 McReynolds Road, Sausalito
    Dates: March 28–April 1 & April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–2 pm; extendend care 2–4 pm
    Ages: 4–8 years old

  • Marin Greenplay
    Location: Mill Valley Community Center
    Dates: April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–4 pm; extended care 8–9 am & 4–5 pm
    Grades: K–8
    Our Spring Break Day Camp for Grades K-2 will find us exploring, playing games and creating crafts relating to the plentiful mudflats along Richardson Bay. Grades 3-5 will find us engaged in authentic nature awareness activities in some of the most beautiful spots in Southern Marin.   • No Limits Day Camp
    Location: Neil Cummins Elementary, Corte Madera
    Dates: April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–4 pm; Extended care 7:30–6 pm
    Grades: TK–7

  • No Limits Mountain Bike Club
    Location: Neil Cummins Elementary, Corte Madera
    Dates: April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–4 pm; Extended care 7:30–6 pm
    Grades: 2-7

    Are you ready to tackle some of Marin's finest trails? No Limits Mountain Bike Club is gearing up for selected terrain that ensures fun for all skill levels. Along with learning new biking skills and disciplines, riders of all abilities will learn safety and bike maintenance -- all while exploring the outdoors and making new friends! Cost: $400/week. Central Marin Camps

  • Gymworld
    Location: 3040 Kerner Boulevard, San Rafael

    Dates: April 11–15
    Times: 9:30 am–1 pm
    Ages: 4 years old and up
    Gymnastics include beam, bars, trampoline, tumbling, climbing ropes, rings, foam pit and climbing wall.   • Marinwood Community Center
    Location: 775 Miller Creek Road, San Rafael
    Dates: April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–3 pm; extended care 8–9 am & 3–5 pm
    Ages: 3–12 years

    Our camp counselors are dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for children to interact, meet new friends and participate in exciting camp activities. Campers will spend their day at the park, playing dodgeball, creating art masterpieces and going down the waterslide at our pool. Please bring a sack lunch, two snacks, water, swim suit, towel and sunblock to camp daily. Cost: $188 residents, $213 non-residents. Drop-in is $45 a day, depending on availability.   • Play–Well Teknologies Marin

    Ages: 5 to 6 years old

    Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO! Resourcefulness, creativity, and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, and use these resources to build special items to help in our adventures! Build a Zoo, create a Medieval Castle, and design a Tree House Village! This LEGO experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft.   • Vilda Nature Camp

    Dates: April 11–15

    Times: 9 am–3 pm
    Ages: 6–12 years old
    Celebrate the spring outdoors. Join us as we follow overflowing creeks and waterfalls, find bird nests, track rabbits, and look for wild flowers jumping up from their long slumber.  Learn the ways of the scout, moving silently through the landscape without alarming the birds and blend into the brush. Northern Marin Camps

  • Marin Treks

    Grades: 1st–8th

  • Morning Star Farm Camp
    Location: 885 Sutro Ave., Novato
    Dates: April 13–17
    Times: 9:30 am-12:30 pm
    Ages: 6–14 years old

    Campers will be divided into beginner/intermediate groups if enough participants sign up. Small groups allow the camp program to be tailored to fit needs/desires of riders. Camps offer riding lessons, horse care, grooming & saddling each day and other horsey activities. Bring a snack, water bottle, and riding gear. We have boots and helmets to borrow.     Ages: 4–14 years old

    camp times 9 am–noon (ages 4–14) or 9 am–3 pm (ages 7–14). Campers will have the choice of many different projects each day that include painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed media and printmaking, students will create a variety of fine art projects in different art mediums.   • Berkeley Playhouse

    This spring break, our one-week camp sessions will be inspired by the classic animated film, Toy Story and the epic tale of The Avengers! Awaken your imagination and turn your theatrical dreams into a reality. Each camp day will comprise of lessons in acting, singing, and dancing with an emphasis on ensemble-building, theatre games, and personal growth. Cost: $375 per week. San Francisco Camps

  • San Francisco Zoo Camp
    Location: Sloat Boulevard, San Francisco
    Dates: March 28–April 1 & April 11–15
    Times: 9 am–noon & 9 am–4 pm; extended care 8–9 am and 4–5 pm
    Ages: 4 years old through grade 5
    Spring campers learn what all the buzz of Spring is about during a fun-filled week that highlights pollinators, plants, and nests. Grades Pre-K (must be at least 4 yrs) 9 am to noon SFZS Members $205; Non-members $245 and Grades K-5 from 9 am to 4 pm SFZS Members $285; Non-members $325.
