Please describe your school’s educational philosophy. What’s it all about?
University of Play (UOP) is an inclusive childcare program where each child's individual development is respected and valued. Children use all their senses to learn; children thrive when they feel loved, safe, and respected by the people who care for them.
The culture of UOP embraces the idea that children learn experientially, by doing rather then being instructed. UOP's enriching environment is stimulating, and encourages each child to develop through active play and free expression. Playing with their peers helps children build skills for seeing things through another point of view. The peer interaction encourages tolerance, respect, helping, sharing, and problem solving.

Children at UOP have fun playing with their peers and building lasting friendships. Our goal is for each child to feel loved and respected while developing a genuine enthusiasm towards learning.
Each child at UOP feels safe, happy, and looks forward to coming to school. At UOP children learn to feel good about themselves while having a great time.
What does a typical day at your school look like?
Through play, the children are learning how to run and jump. By counting numbers, fingers, and steps, they come to know math. By playing hide and seek, they develop their memory. By playing puzzles and blocks, they learn to solve problems. By dressing up and pretending they learn to understand the world that surrounds them better. And, by painting and dancing, their creativity expands.
What programs does your school offer?
Pre-K, Music, art, ballet, yoga, cooking gardening, and and an outdoor classroom.

What is the process for admission?
UOP enrolls students year round. Please call for a tour. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarships are available.
What makes your school special?
The environment is magical, the teachers are patient and loving, and the parent community is an extension of the school. Each child is nurtured, loved, taught, and cared for as an individual.
