Valentine’s day is around the corner and the kids have been counting the days until they can pass out their valentine cards to their friends and cousins. For something more than chocolates, flowers and greeting cards, here are a few activites and events to do on or around Valentine’s Day:

Valentine’s Day Tea and Craft at I’m a Little Teapot in Sebastopol on February 14, 15, 16, and 17th. Enjoy a delightful Valentine’s Tea with a mother, a grandma, an auntie, or a special friend. Decorate your own cookies to take home to your special Valentine. Servings are at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Price is $22.00, and includes endless tea, freshly baked scones, and a cookie-decorating craft. Pine Point Cooking School in is having a Valentine’s Day class for adults. Come with your sweetie and make some heart-shaped ravioli and a chocolate soufflé. Create hand made cards for your family and friends using recycled materials all week at Habitot in Berkeley. Bring in any valentine-making art supplies, such as card stock, stickers, doilies, tissue paper, yarn, fabric, or glitter to use and share, and receive a free adult admission pass, with love, from Habitot.
