Gymnastics Summer Camps

Gymnastics campOne of my son’s favorite extracurricular activities is gymnastics. It builds confidence and coordination and, above all, it’s fun! There are numerous places in Marin that offer gymnastics summer camps. Here’s our selection.

Corte Madera:

The Pyramid Gym in Corte Madera has 5 sessions of weekly summer camps that begin June 16- July 17, Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-noon. They also offer an afternoon intensive program for the more dedicated gymnast. These weekly camps will be offered over a seven-week period starting June 16 and ending on August 1.  Students will meet every day for one week, Monday through Friday, for a 45-minute or one hour class. Novato:

Novato Gymnastics Center offers a summer camp. I'll update the info as soon as I get the summer camp info. For more information, go to Novato Gymnastics Center’s website.

San Rafael:

Gym World Marin in San Rafael is also offering a summer camp in 3 sessions. The first sessions runs June 19–30. Session two runs July 17 to July 28, and session three is from July 31 to August 11. Mega Elite Gymnastics Academy in San Rafael has a half-day summer camp from noon–3:30 pm starting June 16. They offer 9 sessions of one-week camps for boys and girls ages 5 and up. All sessions cost $245. At the end of each camp week, they have an Olympic Friday that allows the children to show off what they have learned during the week. They also receive a Mega Medal. San Rafael Gymnastics will be offering a summer camp. I'll update as soon as there is some info for the camps. Call (415) 491-1290 or go to www.srgym.com.

Sausalito:

The Little Gym in Sausalito/Marin City offers half-day camps starting June 16 and running through August 21 to children 3–8 years old. These camps have a different weekly theme, such as cheerleading, “Wild West”, “Who’s Your Hero” and “Time Travelers”. On Monday and Wednesday the camps are from 1:00–4:00 pm and on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am–noon. The individual classes are $40 for non-members and $35 for members.
