Spring Break Camps for Kids in Marin

  • Art Attack! Spring Camp at Bay Area Discovery Museum
    Sausalito

    April 8–11, 9 am–3 pm
    The Art Attack camp is for ages 4–7 years and takes place April 8–11 (four days). Explore your artistic potential and express yourself through paint, sculpture, natural objects, recycled materials, messy art and more. Children will explore the artistic through our specialized open-ended child-directed process no matter how messy they may get! Cost: Supporting Members $375; general $400 per series.   • Devil's Gulch Camp
    Nicasio (pick-up/drop-off at San Rafael YMCA)

    April 8–12, 8 am–4:30 pm
    In partnership with Devil's Gulch Educational Services, the Marin YMCA will be leading a spring break camp in Nicasio for grades 2–8. Kids will have the opportunity to learn about farming, animal care, sustainable living and outdoor skills. The actual working farm will provide an experience for campers to garden, go fishing and enjoy other outdoor activities. The campers will meet at the YMCA at 8 am. The bus will leave the Marin YMCA at 8:15 am. and return to the YMCA at 4:30. Pre- and post-camp are not available. Fee: Facility Member $400 and Program Member $430.   • GymWorld Spring Camp
    San Rafael
    April 8–12, 9:30–12:30

    GymWorld camps provide a half day of involved gymnastics for ages 4 and up. There are many different events such as the obstacle course on the floor, trampoline, bars, beam, and vault. Throughout the day you will enjoy three rotations and a snack break followed by gym games, conditioning, and of course, all children will be recognized with awards and prizes.   • ITK Spring Break Kids Camp
    Sausalito
    April 8–11, 10 am–2 pm

    ITK Culinary offers a four-day spring break camp with Scott Davis, the Culinary Dude. Kids ages 4–14 will explore the diverse, flavorful and amazing food of countries in South, Central and North America. We will travel to and cook from the following places; Argentina, Brazil, New Mexico and New Orleans. Cost: $300 for week or $75 a day. Early 9 am drop-off available for an additional $15 per day.   • Marin YMCA Spring Camp

    April 8–12

    Come join the Y and get down and dirty with Mother Nature. The whole week campers will be educated about being green. We will explore nature, make recycle projects, taste some yummy natural treats and learn about ecosystem. Location: Brookside, San Anselmo, and Loma Verde, Novato Fee: Facility Member $46 per day, Program Member $51 per day Annual Program Membership: $50 for single member or $75 for a family.   • Marin Treks Natural History Museum

    Marin Treks offers daily camps April 8–11 from 9:30 am–12:30 pm. Learn to fly on a trapeze, challenge the Cal Adventures ropes course, sea kayak in Sausalito, and challenge the par kour course at the Cave.   • Marinwood Community Center Spring Break Camp
    San Rafael

    April 8–12, 9 am–3 pm
    Spring Break Camp is an exciting week of arts, crafts, sports, group games, swimming and much more! Camp counselors are dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for children to interact, meet new friends and participate in exciting recreation and activities. Come join the fun!   • Morning Star Farm Spring Camp
    Novato
    April 8–12, 9 am–12:30 pm

    These camps are designed for children ages 6–14.Campers will be divided into beginner/intermediate groups if enough participants sign up. A minimum of three riders per day are needed to hold camp. Small groups allow the camp program to be tailored to fit needs/desires of riders. Camps offer riding lessons, horse care, grooming & saddling each day and other horsey activities. Bring a snack, water bottle, and riding gear. Boots and helmets available to borrow.   • Spring Break Sports & Splash Camp
    Rolling Hills Club, Novato

    Campers will play a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, tennis, racquetball and swimming, as well as other games and activities. Campers will also get to participate in arts & crafts activities and meet new friends before heading back to school! Extended care available 8:30–9 am and 4–6 pm.   • Spring Camp at Mill Valley Community Center

    Join an enthusiastic staff of trained recreation leaders for a lively and entertaining mix of activities, crafts, sports and spring surprises for kids ages 5–12. Camp hours are 9:30 am–4 pm. Extended care is available before and after our scheduled camp hours; 8–9:30 am and 4–6 pm. Cost: $226 for the week or $51 per day. Extended care is $64 per week or $14 per day.   • Spring Break Camp at Studio 4 Art
    Novato

    April 8–12, 10 am–1 pm & 10 am–3 pm
    This year's theme is Monsters and Bunnies. Campers ages 4–14 will have the choice of many different projects each day. Some of the topics will be: painting, drawing, cartooning, clay wheel-throwing sewing, mosaics, screen printing mono printing, relief printing, and collage. Camp hours: Ages 4–12 10 am-1 pm and ages 7–14 10 am–3 pm). Cost: $65 per day or $255 for 3-hour sessions, $90 per day or $375 per week for 5-hour sessions. Location: 1133 Grant Avenue, Novato.
