Good Shepherd Lutheran School

Good Shepherd is a Preschool through 8th grade school, serving students in the greater Novato/San Rafael area. We pride ourselves on providing small class sizes (12:1 ratio in K-5th), a robust enrichment program in K-5 and Middle School, aides in every elementary classroom, and a program that values and emphasizes the arts, STEM, experiential learning, outdoor education and field trips. Students develop a love of learning that goes well beyond the years spent at GSLS by nurturing the passion to explore, examine and engage. Small class sizes, dynamic classrooms, close connections and a strong academic curriculum are the cornerstones of our program. With a dedication to social-emotional learning, we understand the importance of educating the whole child. Our school is a safe place, where students are encouraged to try new things, make close connections in the classroom, and be a part of a greater caring community.
