Searching for Part-Time Nanny or Babysitter

We’re looking for a new part-time nanny or consistent sitter, for about 20+ hours a week.

About us:
• We’re in Kentfield, near parks and schools and walking distance to the town of San Anselmo (library, MusicTogether class, lunch places, etc.)
• We have a talkative, curious, singing, storytelling, dancing, cuddly 4-year-old daughter
• We have two sweet older girl cats, so those with allergies shouldn't apply
• We feel that we are loyal, supportive, and generous employers to those who have worked for us

We’re looking for:
• Summertime hours are whatever someone can give us (20-30?)
This schedule will change in the fall when our daughter will go to school four or five mornings a week 9am – 1pm
• Someone who drives, and has a safe car (to pick up our daughter from preschool)
• Someone who can do a little bit of light housework while our daughter naps (dishes, her laundry, pick up around the playroom, etc.)
• Someone who is responsible and kind, energetic and patient

If you know of someone who fits this description and might be interested, please let us know.
Thanks so much!

Nanny

Hello and my name is Ashley. I am 26 years old and have 14 years combined of both Nanny and Babysitting experience. I started out as a Nanny when I was 18. I started nannying for an 8 month old baby girl for up to 11 hours a day. I made bottles, changed diapers, put her down for naps, read to her as well as developmental and age appropriate activities. I watched and her brother until the ages of 5 and 3 respectively. I then transitioned to a family with 3 children ages 8,11 and 15 which included picking them up from school, driving them to various activities, helping with homework, doing laundry and preparing dinner. After this I worked as a summer nanny/ mother's helper for the summer with 4 kids ages 2,3,4 and 6 years old. Most recently I have been working for a family with 3 children ages 4,5 and 8 taking them to and from school, taking them to various activities, helping with dinner, bath time and bedtime. I also have taught group and private swim lessons at my local YMCA for the past 5 years working with children ranging in age from 6mo to 10 years of age. I am one class away from my early childhood development degree. I believe it is important for children to learn by experience, experience the world around them, be inquisitive and ask questions. I believe outdoor play is important, trips to museums and libraries, coloring, reading, being creative with chalk and paint. I am CPR Certified and also have a reliable, fully insured car. Feel free to contact me anytime.
