It’s time to start planning for my son’s 4th Birthday party. I’m always looking for a fun and easy place to have my sons party every year. Last year we had two parties for him at the Round Table Pizza with Merlin’s Magical Kingdom in Novato. An indoor playland with tubes for the kids to crawl through, this is also a great location for any type of get together on a rainy day. Another great place for this age range is the Redwood Empire Gymnastics in Petaluma. We went there for my niece’s birthday a couple years ago and all the kids had a blast. They offer a gymnastics session and they have an area for food, cake and gift opening. Two other places that offer birthday parties and were recommended by friends are the Mill Valley Community Center and the Bay Area Discovery Museum is Sausalito. The Mill Valley Community Center offers a variety of themed parties, including Tea Party, Puppet Party and Karate Party, to name a few. The Discovery Museum in Fort Baker also has a variety of themed parties, such as Under the Sea, Fairy Princess, and Dinosaur Exploration. After the party, the kids can explore the museum at their own paces. My kids love going to the Discovery Museum, so I would imagine that having a birthday party there would be a wonderful experience.
I am currently working on a Birthday Party section for this site that will offer places to have parties, broken down into age ranges, so check back often. Do you have a favorite birthday party spot? Leave a comment and let us know.
