- Breakfast with Enzo! presents a weekly family folk music sing-along for ages 0–5 with two different sets of music at 10 and 11 am at the Presidio Dance Theatre. Enzo will perform with his banjo, accordion, musical saw, guitar, and countless other instruments for a morning of singing and dancing. The cost is $5 a person. - San Anselmo's Stapleton Ballet presents a family-friendly show featuring two one-act story ballets based on children's favorites: Alice in Wonderland and Peter and the Wolf. Performances are at the Playhouse, at 27 Kensington Road in San Anselmo, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 2, 3, and 4, 2008. Shows start at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, with 1 pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $18 general, $12 for students 18 and under and seniors 65 and older. - The 38th annual Sausalito Spring Faire, an art and music festival, will be held this Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4, along the water in beautiful downtown Sausalito. This free event will feature over 80 artists, live entertainment, fine food, beverages, and a children’s area. The children’s entertainment line-up includes musicians and local favorites Tim Cain, Miss Kitty, the Crunchy Frog Band, and Daffy Dave. Activities for children include a fishing booth, arts and crafts, jumpies, and an obstacle course. All proceeds benefit the Sausalito Nursery School. - The Bay Area Discovery Museum and Bread and Roses team up to present Rebecca, the Bubble Lady, who entertains and delights as she sculpts a variety of amazing bubble forms at 11 am and 12:30 pm. Bread and Roses produces live performances by Bay Area artists who lend their talents to entertain disadvantaged children. For ages 1 and up. Members $6, general $8. Register online at www.badm.org.

- Join Bonnie Lockhart for a sing and dance for ages 0-5 at the Belvedere-Tiburon Library on Saturday, May 3 at 11 am. - Family Fun Night—A Super Hero Splashdown, takes place at the Mill Valley Community Center pool from 7-9 pm. Calling all superheroes: the pool needs you to help save the day! Dress as your favorite super hero (swimming attire required for pool use). Our Family Fun Night will include water safety information for you and your family to stay safe during this fun in the sun and cool by the pool summer. The cost is $5.00 per family.

- Babes & Babies: Calling all moms, moms-to-be and grandmas and shop to you drop on Sunday, May 4 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be 50 talented designers offering unique clothing and accessories for sale for trendy tots. Admission is 2 tickets for $8 at the website www.appelandfrank.com or $5 at the door. - Wildflower Walk for Kids (and their parents) at Muir Beach from 11 am to 1 pm. Join Ken, Ben, Jen, and Em for a fun hike along the Owl Trail. Walk and learn to identify colorful spring wildflowers as well as other plants and animals you see and hear along the trail. Bring your lunch to eat at Slide Ranch. This is an easy one-mile hike. - Viva Cuba—Beyond Borders Children's Film Series on Sunday at 4 pm at the Rafael Film Center. This beautifully photographed film from Cuba (its 2005 Oscar entry) focuses on two young people: Jorgito, raised by pro-Castro parents, and Malu, by a middle-class Christian single mother. They journey across country in search of their identity—and Malu’s mother—on an island cut off from the world. In Spanish with English subtitles. Earphones are available for young people to hear subtitles read in English. Ages 7+.
