Sailing Education Adventures’ Sail Camp

Sailing Education Adventures’ Sail Camp is one of the best ways for children to learn to sail in The Bay Area. It offers intensive instruction on 14’ sailboats, as well as lessons on boat safety and seamanship. And most importantly, Sail Camp fosters teamwork and self reliance.

There will be an open house on May 18, 2013 from 11 am-3 pm.

Sail Camp Basic/Intermediate:
Located at Marin Yacht Club, San Rafael
Days: Monday - Friday, Two weeks.
Hours: 9-4pm
Ages: 10-16

Session I: June 23-July 4
Session II: July 7- July 18
Session III: JJuly 21-August 1
Session IV: August 4- August 15

Summer Sail Camp is Sailing Education Adventure's primary program for teaching youth sailing to youths during summer vacation. The US Sailing Certified program is based at the calm and protected harbor of the Marin Yacht Club in San Rafael. Click here for more Youth Sailing.

Mini Camp:
Located at Loch Lomond Marina, San Rafael
Days: Monday - Friday, One week
Hours: 9-12pm
Ages: 8-10
Session 1: June 23-July 27
Session 2: July 7-July 11

One-week, half-day sessions to introduce younger children to sailing. Light morning breezes give younger children an opportunity to start learning about wind, water, safety and fun. Youths are taught basic sailing skills by our experienced staff. In safe conditions, children are encouraged to sail in pairs without counselors by the end of the their training. Advanced/Intro to Race Camp:
Located at Loch Lomond Marina, San Rafael
Days: Monday - Friday, One week
Hours: 12- 4pm
Ages: 12 and up
Session 1: July 28-August 1
Session 2: August 11 - August 15

One-week, half day sessions for advanced sailors looking for more intense sailing aboard our sloop rigged Catalina Capris. Campers will be challenged by performance sailing, longer voyages and an introduction to racing. Advanced students must be approved by SEA Counselors or Director.
