Sailing Education Adventures’ Sail Camp
Sailing Education Adventures’ Sail Camp is one of the best ways for children to learn to sail in The Bay Area. It offers intensive instruction on 14’ sailboats, as well as lessons on boat safety and seamanship. And most importantly, Sail Camp fosters teamwork and self reliance.
There will be an open house on May 11, 2013 from 11 am-3 pm.
Sail Camp Basic/Intermediate:
Located at Marin Yacht Club, San Rafael
Session I: June 17-28

Session III: July 15-26
Session IV: July 29-August 9
Summer Sail Camp is Sailing Education Adventure's primary program for teaching youth sailing to youths during summer vacation. The US Sailing Certified program is based at the calm and protected harbor of the Marin Yacht Club in San Rafael. Click here for more Youth Sailing.
Located at Loch Lomond Marina, San Rafael
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 9:00 - 12:00
Ages: 8-10Session 1: June 17 - June 21
Session 2: July 1 -July 5
One-week, half-day sessions to introduce younger children to sailing. Light morning breezes give younger children an opportunity to start learning about wind, water, safety and fun. Youths are taught basic sailing skills by our experienced staff. In safe conditions, children are encouraged to sail in pairs without counselors by the end of the their training. Note: We cannot enroll 8-10 year olds in Basic / Intermediate camps.
Children aged 8-10 who have completed one full week of Mini Camp are eligible to enroll in Basic/Intermediate camp at the discretion of the Head Counselor.
