This winter, many private schools in Marin are holding open houses and tours for parents of prospective students. If you're considering a local preschool or private K–12 for your child, you'll definitely want to attend. The following schools and preschools are holding open houses this January. Unless otherwise noted, these open house events require RSVPs in advance.

    Mark Day School, San Rafael

    • Campus Tour
      Tuesday, January 9, 8:30–10:45 am

    Mount Tamalpais School, Mill Valley

      While touring our beautiful campus, guests will hear from the Head of School and educational leadership team, observe in classrooms, learn from our teachers, and participate in a Q&A with students. Register for tours here.

      Saturday, January 20, 10 am–noon

      Meet the teachers, tour their Sausalito campus and learn about their imaginative, experiential, and academically rigorous education for children from preschool to 8th grade. Register here

      Come explore San Domenico School's campus at their Preview Days. Preview Day provides an opportunity for students and parents/guardians to participate in mini-lessons, hear from student panelists, and get to know the community. This not-to-be-missed event provides an invaluable and inspiring overview of SD! In addition, virtual tours and information sessions are available. More information

      Families will have the opportunity to visit each classroom, learn about our mission, curriculum, service programs and after-school activities.     Our Lady of Loretto School, Novato

      Sunday, January 28, 11 am–12:30 pm
      We are hosting an open house celebrating Catholic Schools Week and Grandparents Day on Sunday, January 28th following the 10am mass. Our school will be open from 11am to 12:30pm.
