  • North Bay Children's & Maternity Consignment Event

    The North Bay's largest children's and maternity consignment sales event, Just Between Friends returns September 9–11 to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, Hall of Flowers. It's 27,000 square feet of shopping and consigning awesomeness, and everyone is welcome to join the fun!     This Friday's movie is Mamma Mia! Arrive by 8 pm—films begin at dusk. Popcorn, candy, and sodas will be sold. Bring blankets, pillows, backrests, and low chairs.   • Cal Star Gymnastics Indoor Power Play

    Saturday and Sunday, 9–10:30 am

    Participants 5 years and under can run, jump and play in an open gymnastics environment. Bring the kids in on a rainy day to burn some energy.   • Dream Circle Benefit Concert

    Join the Dream Circle Band for a fun sing-, clap-, and dance-along interactive kids' concert on Saturday, September 8 at 11 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon. The stellar lineup includes regular band members Tim Cain, Miss Kitty, Christopher Smith, Cindy Cohen, Peter Penhallow, Dick Mithun, and CC Dawson plus Val Serrant on African percussion, Kevin Gerzevitz on accordion and Larry Rhodes on bassoon. This concert is a community event to honor cellist and pianist, Michael Knapp, who passed away this summer. There is a suggested $10 per person donation at the door. Kids one and under are free.   • 17th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival

  • Crafting Community for Splendid!

    Come to the grand opening event for the new Splendid store in the Village at Corte Madera.   • Free Shakespeare in the Park: Henry V

    Bring your family, friends, a blanket or low lawn chair, and a picnic to enjoy free professional theatre by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. This year the festival features Henry V, the Bard’s exciting tale about the rise of a young king and the glories and costs of war.   • The Curtain Theatre Company Presents Much Ado About Nothing

    The Curtain Theatre Company presents Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing at Mill Valley's Old Mill Park. Free and family friendly! No reservations. A limited number of chairs are available. You are also invited to bring your own field chairs or blankets for the hillside. Bring a sweater—the park can be cool in the shade even on a warm day.   • Lyford House Open to Visitors

    Lyford House, the yellow Victorian on the shores of Richardson Bay at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary, will be open for visitors one Saturday per month for five months beginning June. It was deeded to the Audubon Society in 1961 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. Location: 376 Greenwood Beach Road, Tiburon.   • West Point Inn Pancake Breakfast

    Guests must hike or bike to the inn; parking is available at the Bootjack, Pan Toll, Rock Springs, and East Peak parking lots. This is a really nice hike if you haven’t done it before.
