Boo! at the Zoo Takes Place This Weekend at the San Francisco Zoo

Boo! at the Zoo San Francisco ZooBoo! at the Zoo returns to the San Francisco Zoo this Halloween season on Saturday and Sunday October 24 and 25. Join the zoo for a not-too-spooky Halloween family festival where you can trick-or-treat around the zoo and see the animals enjoy special pumpkin treats. Get your monster mash on at the special Halloween-themed Baby Loves Disco dance party at the Playground and take a trip through the Haunted Nature Trail to celebrate!

Boo! at the Zoo activities include candy treat stations throughout the zoo, Halloween crafts, two bounce houses on the Playfield Lawn, the Haunted Nature Trail (11 am–3 pm), Creepy Crawly Critter Adventures at the Insect Zoo, and live music from Baby Loves Disco. You can also experience the Pumpkin Stomp & Chomp, where you can watch the animals enjoy tasty holiday-themed treats and wellness activities.

All Boo! at the Zoo activities are free with paid San Francisco Zoo admission. Kids wearing costumes get $1 off admission. (Please note that the Zoo requests that trick-or-treaters not wear rubber masks as they may frighten the animals.)

The San Francisco Zoo is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm; the last admisison is at 4 pm. Admission is $19 for adults 15 to 64, $16 for seniors 65 and over, $13 for children 4 to 14, and free for kids 3 and under. Parking in the zoo's lot costs $8 on weekdays and $10 on weekends. San Francisco residents, with proof of residency, and retired and active-duty military personnel pay reduced admission fees. The SF Zoo is located on Sloat Boulevard at the Great Highway in San Francisco (94132).
