Beginning Birding and Fun Walk

This event is expired.

Rush Creek Preserve
Pinheiro Rd
novato, CA 94945

Join Ranger Lisa Wilson for a walk under the oaks and along the wetlands of Rush Creek Preserve. As we stretch our legs we’ll be on the lookout for our feathered fall visitors. We’ll discuss birds commonly found in the area this time of year, unique attributes of different groups of birds, and identification for the beginner.

This event is ideal for ages 12 and up, though all explorers are welcome. Degree of difficulty: Easy. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring binoculars, if you have them. We’ll provide healthy snacks and water. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Rain will cancel.

RSVP's are appreciated but not required.
