Birth Works: 3-hour Childbirth Preparation with Mollee Franklin

Pomegranate's Childbirth Education Intensive is taught from a birth doula's perspective and will cover:

-the physiology of birth
-optimal fetal positioning
-stages of labor and how to handle them
-relaxation and comfort measures for labor
-partners role
-importance of support system and overcoming fear in labor

Discussion of formulating a birth plan/preferences along with common procedures and interventions during labor and what to bring to the hospital or birth center.
