Birth Works: 3-hour Childbirth Preparation with Mollee Franklin
Imagine a comprehensive 3-hour childbirth class with 4-5 other expecting parents in a comfortable setting where you are encouraged to ask questions.
Birth Works is just this! It is taught by Mollee Franklin, a local birth doula and lactation and childbirth educator with over 14 years of experience. Mollee offers fact-based information and creates an intimate and safe space where you can ask questions and discuss fears.
In this class you can expect to learn valuable skills and information on the stages of labor and the birth process, optimal fetal positioning through movement and posture, discussion of birth plans and common hospital or birth center procedures and helpful things to pack or have on hand during labor. The goal of this class is to prepare expectant parents by providing fact-based information and support to ensure that regardless of where or how a woman chooses to give birth, they feel confident and prepared.
This class is appropriate for expectant parents choosing to have a home, hospital or birth center birth. Birth Works is the perfect compliment to Elizabeth Shelhart's Prenatal Partner's class.
