Playful People Productions Presents:
The Marshmallow Incident

The Marshmallow Incident occurred a very long time ago... in the towns of Left and Right.  The towns were separated by a dotted yellow line, guarded by the Ambidextrous Knights of the Dotted Yellow Line, whose sole mission in life was to make sure that nobody crossed that dotted yellow line.  Though no one knows who put the line there, or why, the people of the two towns would not acknowledge each other due to their differences.  But a questioning young apprentice Knight might just be able to change a few minds.  With a colorful cast of villagers from the two towns and the Ambidextrous Knights, a chaotic battle of marshmallows ensues upon the stage when the line is accidentally crossed!

Based on the book "The Marshmallow Incident" by Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett, this production will encompass the visual and thematic brilliance of it's original creators, with an original score by local recording artist Sean Mendelson, and a script adaptation by Playful People Artistic Director Katie D'Arcey.  This is guaranteed to be a sugary sweet, gooey, squishy, and exciting production!

Our shows often sell out prior to the show weekend. Be sure to buy your tickets early, you won't want to miss out on this fantastic production.
