Purim for Young Children!
This event is expired.
Join other families in an open and welcoming environment to celebrate this joyful Jewish costume holiday. Enjoy Purim songs and movement with musician Joel Siegel and a kid-friendly Purim story with Rabbi Bridget Wynne. We'll also have a hands-on holiday project, yummy Purim treats, and more. Children and adults are encouraged to come in costume! It doesn't need to be complicated. A silly hat or your shirt on backward works great.
WHO: This event is especially for children 1-5 and their grownups. Older and younger siblings are also invited.
All are welcome, including interfaith, intercultural, LGBTQ, and adoptive families; people of color, single parents, and grandparents. No Jewish knowledge or experience is necessary. Feel free to invite friends who might be interested!
HOW: The fee is $12/adult, $8/child, and children under one are free. Epworth Church Social Hall is accessible to the disabled, and street parking is easily available. Register to attend Purim here.
