Sid the Science Kid is spending his summer vacation at the Bay Area Discovery Museum! Based on the award-winning PBS series, Sid the Science Kid: The Super-Duper Exhibit! shows children how much fun it can be using science every day.

Visitors to the exhibit will step into Sid’s world—from the kitchen table to the school playground—and see how learning can come to life in all their favorite places!

Join Sid’s family in the kitchen to explore pattern-making, weighing and measuring, density, and the five senses.

In Sid’s room, kids will see that chores like putting away toys or straightening the bookshelf can actually be fun when you use scientific tools and games to get things done.

Using a pulley system lift toys into Sid’s treehouse or sharing ideas and secrets with friends though the whisper tube makes for backyard fun all kids will enjoy.

Sid’s classroom is the perfect place to experiment, research, and explore, especially during time spent in the “Super Fab Lab.”

On the playground, kids can see how science learning and creative fun go hand-in-hand by playing games, telling jokes, and completing fun activities.

Sid the Science Kid: The Super-Duper Exhibit! opens at the Bay Area Discovery Museum on May 26 and runs through September 3.

Museum admission applies.
