Play-Well Live

One of the unexpected benefits of our shelter-in-place, stay-at-home lifestyle these days is all the awesome online content being created to keep kids and families busy. Play-Well TEKnologies, operators of the fantastic LEGO education center in San Anselmo, is offering Play-Well Live, LEGO-inspired engineering sessions via their Facebook page every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am PDT.

Get out those bins of LEGO bricks and tune in as Play-Well's staff of building experts guide your kidss they build cool STEM projects like a mini Golden Gate Bridge, a catapult, an inchworm car, and more. Make sure you check their Facebook page before the session to make sure you have the recommended bricks and components, and then join in the fun and learning.

If you miss a session—don't worry! You can watch the recorded version on your own time. It won't be quite the same experience as participating live, but you'll still have fun. Tag your creation with #playwellathome and they may feature it on the next Play-Well Live broadcast.

The Play-Well TEKnologies San Anselmo Learning Center is located at 216 Greenfield Avenue. They offer a variety of camps, classes, building sessions, and more; they also have a fully stocked LEGO store with many of the newest kits. Like many businesses, it's closed until at least April 7, 2020, so make plans to visit and play with LEGOs when they're back open.
