  • Kids' Show: Pi Clowns

    Silliness is very serious business for the Pi Clowns. Blending mime, theater, acrobatics, juggling and improvisation, the Pi Clowns deliver delightful and original clown vignettes. Pi members have worked as performers, teachers and technicians for world-class institutions from Cirque Du Soleil and The New Pickle Circus to the San Francisco Circus Center and Teatro ZinZanni.   • Alameda County Fair
    Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton

    The Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton offers an amazing lineup of concerts featuring headliners like Loverboy, Sheila E., Sammy Kershaw, Collin Raye, Aaron Tippin, and more. There will also be a carnival midway with rides and games, a 4th-of-July Fireworks Spectacular, kids' STEAM Weekends, farm animals, a rodeo, monster trucks, motocross, a demolition derby, and countless entertainers.   • San Mateo County Fair

    San Mateo County's annual fair includes concerts by Air Supply, Queen Nation, and Sir Mix-A-lLot, as well as free fair entertainment.   • Broadway Under the Stars: A Chorus Line

    The “Best Musical Ever” perfectly describes this blockbuster Broadway hit that not only launches the 2019 season of the award winning Broadway Under the Stars series, but also serves as Transcendence’s first fully performed theatrical musical production at Jack London State Historic Park.   • Kentfield Family Evening Hike
    Baltimore Canyon Preserve
    Friday, 7:30–9 pm

    Join Ranger Mike Warner for a relaxing evening hike in Kentfield to a view point on Blithedale Ridge. The hike is approximately 3.5 miles round-trip with an elevation gain of 521 feet. This event is ideal for ages 5 and up. Degree of difficulty: Moderate to strenuous. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Friendly dogs are welcome but must be leashed.     We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party on the lawn.   • Father's Day Pancake Breakfast at West Point Inn

    Take dad for a hike up to Mount Tam's West Point Inn for their Sunday pancake breakfast. It's $10 for adults and $5 for children, and includes pancakes, sausages, and coffee. Canteloupe and orange juice are available for $1 extra. Event details

    Call of the Sea offers a Family Adventure Sail on the schooner Seaward from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Take in famous San Francisco sights from the water.   • Hats Off to Dad

    Venture down to the Santa Cruz Mountains and Roaring Camp Railroads to spend Father's Day riding the rails through the redwoods. Their Hats Off to Dad event features steam train rides and a chuck wagon BBQ. Each dad receives a free engineer's cap with purchase of a train ticket and a BBQ platter. In addition, Santa Cruz’s Humble Sea Brewing Company, Shanty Shack Brewing and Santa Cruz Scrumpy Cider will be pouring the best local brew at Roaring Camp.
