LifeWorks Essay Writing Master Class

In many high school English classrooms, writing formulas end up overshadowing the critical thinking skills that students need to actually craft strong essays. The result? Essays that are all form and no substance—not to mention painful to write! This four-day Master Class is designed to change all that. 

We’ll walk students through a complete and effective writing process, from generating ideas to developing compelling arguments to polishing final drafts. Using short, engaging texts, students will practice multiple techniques for generating strong analysis that they can immediately apply in Advanced Placement classrooms and beyond.
