20 Free Things to Do for Families in July
It's July, and you don't have to break the bank to have a great time with the kiddos! Here are 20 free activities and outings in Marin and the Bay Area this month. Keep in mind some of these activities require advance registration, so check before you go.

- Visit SFMOMA for free from 1–8 pm on the first Thursday of the month, July 6.
- Enjoy Marin's county parks — Stafford Lake, McNears Beach, and Paradise Beach, for free.
- See family movies outdoors for free at Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, every Friday, July 7, 14, 21 & 28, 6 pm.
