The Bay Area Pignic Returns to Marin Humane August 26

Guinea Pigs

Attention all guinea pig owners — the Bay Area Pignic returns to Marin Humane in Novato on Sunday, August 28! Join other guinea pigs and their pet parents for a fun-filled gathering from 10 am to 2 pm.

Grab some lunch, pack up your piggies, and head to the Pignic to participate in activities like a cavy costume contest, vegetable eating contest, bake sale, health checks, grooming, and more. All Pignic proceeds benefit Marin Humane's small animal rescue operations.

The Pignic takes place on Sunday, August 26, 2023, from 10 am to 2 pm at Marin Humane's campus at 171 Bel Marin Keys Boulevard in Novato 94949. Admission is $5, which includes 1 raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased: 2 for $5 or 5 for $10. Get advance tickets online here.

Want to become a guinea pig pet parent? Check out Marin Humane's roster of adorable adoptable guinea pigs on their small animal adoption page.
