Novato Library Lecture (Bilingual): Trail Terrors?

This event is expired.

Many people are concerned about the dangers they might encounter in the wild. Mountain lions, rattlesnakes, coyotes and spiders have a bad reputation and keep many people from enjoying nature here in Marin County. This family oriented talk will be about many of the animals in our area, and you might be surprised to learn just how little we have to worry about when we are out on the trail. We are partnering with the Marin County Free Library to present this talk by naturalist David Herlocker, which will be translated into Spanish by librarian Silvia Molina. Questions: Contact David Herlocker at (415) 893-9508 or DHerlocker@marincounty.org. Meet at the Novato Library in Novato (1720 Novato Blvd). The library’s phone number is (415) 473-2050. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for De Long Ave east. After 0.05 miles continue on Diablo Ave, turn right onto Novato Blvd and follow 0.5 miles. Library is on the right.
