Our full day, developmental Kindergarten program includes an exciting, hands-on approach to specialist and core academic learning, across a wide range of subjects: science, art, music, theater, PE, Spanish, reading, writing, handwriting, word study, and math. An added benefit is Cascade Canyon’s unique learning community: students in grades K-8 travel, perform, play, and celebrate learning together throughout the year. The school also places a strong emphasis on children's social-emotional growth, and provides ample opportunities for cross-age mentorship, guided practice in naming and expressing feelings and needs, and a collaborative, school-wide approach to conflict mediation.
