A series of dance, musical theater and performing arts camps for ages 7-14 consisting of workshops with professionals, improvisational games and activities and rehearsal for an onstage performance. A great way to build confidence and skills while having fun and making friends!

San Francisco Friends School Summer Camp

From June 24th to July 26th, there are five week-long sessions, with camps for K-9 th grade. Children may enroll for single or multiple weeks. For K - 1st grade, camps run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. For all other students, the camp day ends at 3:30 pm. There is AM Care starting at 7:45 am and PM Care until 6:00 pm. Highlights include: Back packing, Kayaking, San Francisco Scavenger Hunts, High School Workshop, Digital Video, Sewing, Recycled Sculpture, Web Design, Basketball, Tennis, Black and White Photography and much more! It is our mission to enrich the spiritual, emotional, and physical life of each camper participant in a safe and happy environment and to bring the Quaker values of integrity, service, community, equality, simplicity to every day and every program in the San Fransisco Friends School Summer Camp.

Super Tech 2012

Adventures in Today’s Technology Camp: Join our exciting camp that guides children in making incredible tech projects at Saint Mark’s School in San Rafael. Open to students from all schools that will be incoming 5th-7th graders. Awesome classes included: Clay Animation; Rocketry, digital editing & video production, Lego Mindstorm NXT, visual & verbal programming, robot missions, roller coasters, moving cars, catapults and more! Play Well TEKnologies field trip and special Water Fun Day are other highlight events; lunch program option too. Come and excel at SUPER TECH. Session I: Tues. June 19 - June 29. Session II: Mon. July 2-July 13. 9AM to 3PM. $595 p/session. Lunch program is available for $75 p/session.

Hoop Zone Basketball 2012

Our Basketball Camps at Saint Mark’s School in San Rafael are open to students from all schools that will be incoming 4th-8th graders. Students will receive quality Basketball coaching from talented coach: Randal Gory, former Junior Varsity Branson coach & SFSU star player. Great opportunities to improve ball handling skills, increase knowledge of teamwork, develop overall ability to play the game better than ever! Camp will devote to Basketball from 9-1PM and have Open Swim from 1-3PM each day. Girls’ Hoop Zone Camp: Monday, July 16 – Friday, July 20. 9AM to 3PM. Boys’ Hoop Zone Camp: Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27. $300 p/camp. Lunch program is available for $40 p/camp.

Project ReGeneration Environmental Service Learning Program

Conservation Corps North Bay's free environmental service learning summer program for youth entering sixth to twelfth graders. The program's unique combination of environmental service, education, and outdoor recreation make it one of the North Bay's most sought after summer youth experiences. Four week sessions run from June 18-July 13 and July 17-August 10, Mondays-Fridays, 8:30 am-4:00 pm.

Under the mentorship of CCNB staff and resource management professionals, each member completes approximately 50+ community service hours with their crew on habitat restoration, recycling, trail maintenance, and other environmental projects in the North Bay. Members meet at CCNB's offices and then from there travel to project sites throughout the North Bay.

Fiddlekids

Now in its fourteenth year, fiddlekids is a unique, fun-filled summer day camp for children, devoted to traditional fiddle music. fiddlekids explores bluegrass, Appalachian, Celtic, jazz, klezmer, and other traditional styles through tunes, songs, dance, and art. Fiddlekids welcomes violin students ages 7 to 14 with at least one year's playing experience. Children learn composition, harmony, and improvisation in a fun and practical manner that emphasizes ear training. In addition, fiddlekids offers art and dance classes in small, age-based groups that provide enrichment and thematic connections with the music.

Mt Tam Bikes Camp

Mt. Tam Bikes Camp is a 5-day camp for novice to expert mountain bikers, ages 8-14. Located in Mill Valley, California, where the sport was born, our custom-tailored sessions will explore the world-renowned trails of Marin. Experience the outdoors this summer on a mountain bike. Improve your riding skills, learn bike maintenance, trail etiquette, local history and ecology. We promise not to test campers’s on the last two. Come ride new trails each day in a fun, non-competitive environment, while learning to be a safe, conscientious, and self-reliant cyclists. We don’t just go for a ride, we coach mountain biking. Our focus is on each rider having fun, while safely taking their skills to the next level. Ultimately, the goal is for all of our campers to find that same joy that we’ve found, in nature, on a bike. Mountain Biking can be as hard as it is fun. If you ask us who the best rider is, we’ll tell you, the best rider is the one wearing the biggest smile.

Summer Musical Theater at The Performing Arts Academy of Marin

The Summer Musical Theater at the Performing Arts Academy of Marin offers a variety of themes that include: Hairspray, Oliver, Shrek, Toy Story, A Chorus Line, Dream Girls, Enchanted to name a few. All participants will receive a roll in a weekly musical , superior training in a supportive environment and daily instruction in acting, singing and dancing. For grades 1- 10. They offer 8 weekly camps starting on Jun 13. The camps are Monday-Friday (except for two of the weeks) from 9 am-3 pm. Weekly tuition: 5-days $400, 4-days $470 and 3-days $340.
