• Marin Kids Consignment will be having a  sale at Playtime Safari from 5 to 8 pm. Get some gently used clothing for the kids for the perfect price. Bring the kids while you shop for some play and a movie. The Little Mermaid will be showing at 5:10 pm. There is never an entrance fee to shop. • The 13th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival takes place on Saturday from noon to 5 pm at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. • Bay Area Pet Fair and Adoptathon, the largest dog friendly event in California will be taking place at the Marin Center on September 6 and 7. Features include a multiagency adoptathon, The Other Dog Show for mutts and rescue dogs, and interactive activities for you and your dog. 10 am to 5 pm.
