Discover the Magic of Music: Learn, Listen, and Be Inspired! Join us for a celebration of young talent at our annual Spring Concerts! Sunday, May 5, 3 and 7 pm, at the James Dunn Theatre at College of Marin in Kentfield.
Sunday, May 5, 3 pm
Immerse yourself in beautiful melodies performed by our budding musicians from the Overture String Ensemble and the Crescendo Orchestra. Under the guidance of conductor Anne Lerner, these groups showcase the skills of beginner and intermediate musicians aged 8 to 14.
Sunday, May 5, 7 pm
In the evening, our Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra, featuring 75 experienced musicians ages 13 to 18, takes the stage, presenting a delightful program under the baton of conductor Jim Stopher. Highlights include Concerto Competition Winner Sydney Li-Jenkins playing Paganini's Violin Concerto. Works by Copland, Sibelius, Brahms, Strauss, and Saint-Saëns round out the program.
