Family Friendly Summer Nights Outdoor Music Festival at the Osher Marin JCC
This summer the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center reprises its most popular event series: the Summer Nights Outdoor Music Festival. Bring your picnic, blanket, low-backed lawn chairs, and dancing shoes—there's fun for the whole family! Concerts take place on Saturday evenings from July 13 through August 10 at 7 pm. Dinners from a variety of favorite local restaurants will be available for purchase, along with beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks.
This year, kids 17 and under are free, and the Kids Zone will include fun art projects and activities presented by local organizations like Bread & Roses, the Marine Mammal Center, and the Agricultural Institute of Marin. Of course the playground will be open for supervised play, too!
This summer's multicultural outdoor concert lineup features:
- July 13: Bluegrass Night with Hot Buttered Rum; dinners by Roadside BBQ, Kids Zone hosted by Bread & Roses.
- July 20: World Cafe Fusion with Rupa and the April Fishes and Classical Revolution; Kids Zone hoted by Agricultural Institute of Marin.
- July 27: Hawaiian Island Night with HAPA; dance performance and instruction from Halau Hula Na Pua O Ka La'akea, dinners from Mauna Loa Hawaiian BBQ, Kids Zone hosted by the Marine Mammal Center.
