The First Annual Southern Marin Mother's Club Maker Faire

Calling all makers! Join the Southern Marin Mother's Club (SMMC) for their inaugural Maker Faire on Saturday, January 27, 2018. The Faire takes place from 1 to 4 pm at the Corte Madera Community Center, 498 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera, 94925.

At this first-ever SMMC Maker Faire, you'll experience awesome, hands-on activities from local organizations and vendors. Children will have the opportunity to build a spinning robot, create digital art and animation, make slime, sew, build a fidget spinner, make glass art, learn about coding, identify computer parts, play in their own Minecraft worlds with Microsoft and more!

Participating organizations include Microsoft, the Buck Institute for Reserach on Aging, Tinkering Labs, Circuit Cubes, Poekie Nook, I Made It! Glass, Brandeis School, TinkerTech, Steve and Kate’s Camp, and Mark Day School.

Tickets cost $5 for all makers (that is, kids ages 5 and up). Accompanying adults are admitted free! For more info and to order tickets online, visit their website.
