Hi all,

I'm an elementary teacher with over 5 years of experience, offering private tutoring (either extra support or extra challenges in any academic subject) for elementary aged children in Marin.

I'm making the switch from classroom teaching to tutoring because I am passionate about teaching children in a way that is specifically tailored to each child and their unique interests and learning style. I offer students hands-on, engaging activities to help them build academic understandings and practice skills. And I work to support children's social-emotional development as well, building their confidence, curiosity and love of learning, even in the subjects that are most challenging for them.

A little about me:

*Most recently: Kindergarten Head Teacher at Children's Day School in SF, five years of teaching experience prior to that

*Earned a M.A. Education from Stanford, B.A. Child Development from Tufts University, and have a clear CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential

*Experience collaborating with families and teachers to ensure my work with children supports and compliments what they're learning in other settings. Have worked with children of many backgrounds and with many learning styles, and am skilled in tailoring instruction to meet each child's specific needs and interests.

*Outside of children and education, my hobbies include making jewlery, hiking and spending time outdoors, and planning my upcoming wedding!
