I am writing on behalf of my own childhood nanny that my family has employed for 30 years in Greenbrae. She joined my family when I was around 5, and she has been like a second mother to me and my brother. She adapted to the changing needs of our family (from playing with dolls and trucks when we were little, to picking us up at school as kids, to being home after high school with food prepared, to driving us to activities, and helping the house). After my brother and I left for college, Ana started working with other families with young children, but continued to help my mother with housekeeping, errands, cooking, house-sitting our pets, etc.

She has worked with another family for the past 7 years, starting when the baby was 2 months old and was employed when their second child was born. She also has worked with another family for over 2 years, whose needs are changing and she is now looking for a family.

She is very comfortable with newborns and small children. She is very energetic and she prefers to stay active and busy on the playground and around the house when the kids are asleep. She is a great cook, very organized and clean. She will make your kids rooms spotless and keep your house tidy, and make sure your kids are eating healthy. Ana is VERY responsible and easy to work with and have in your home.

I am helping her look for another family, and it needs to be a good fit. She is not particularly interested in a nanny share, and is looking for full time, live out. Her own children are grown so she is flexible on hours and extra babysitting. She has a license and clean driving record. She is familiar with all the parks in Marin, and many of the local kids activities. She is fluent in English and Spanish, is a US citizen, CPR certified with a recent renewal, and will need taxes paid so that she can continue to earn her social security.
