Marin Mother's Circle Begins in February
Two great new programs for Marin moms and their babies are starting up in February. The Marin Mother’s Circle 0–6 Month Series is a six-week mother’s circle starting Tuesday, February 3, for moms and their 0–6-month-old babies, and the Marin Mother’s Circle 6–12 Months Series, for moms and their 6–12-month-old babies, also lasts for six weeks and begins Thursday, February 5. Both sessions are from 2:15 to 3:45 pm.
Some of the topics focused on include:
- Developmental changes in baby (0-12 months)
- Journey of motherhood
- Sleeping and feeding
- Our children as our teachers
- Working mother (home or out of home)
- Balance and self-care
- The "transition to three" (or more!)
- Couples and parenting
- Limit setting & boundaries

The circle is facilitated by Angelique Millette (PhDc, MFTt, PCD/CD [DONA]), a parent coach, infant/toddler sleep and postpartum mood disorder researcher, lactation educator, DONA-certified birth and postpartum doula, and child therapist intern, and Sarah Healy Middelton (MA, MFTi, CD [DONA]) has been involved in the field of birth since 1999 and is a DONA-certified birth doula, and has also worked extensively as a postpartum and overnight doula.
