Get Rid of Your E-Junk at E-Waste Weekend!

Ever wonder what to do with that obsolete inkjet printer, clunky old laptop, outdated cell phone, or other unwanted electronic device? Get rid of them in a safe, environmentally friendly, and legal manner at the Back-to-School E-Waste Weekend, taking place in the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium parking lot on Saturday and Sunday, April 12 and 13 from 8 am to 3 pm. For this event the County of Marin is teaming up with Electronic Recyclers, the largest e-recyclers in California.

This sort of event is especially useful, as apparently it is illegal now to dispose of old electronic devices in your household trash. E-Waste Weekend is a free event; no tickets or reservations are required, just come on down with your e-junk. For more info, go to www.marinsustainability.org.
