Bay Area Discovery Museum Re-Opens Wednesday

The Bay Area Discovery Museum has been closed for the last few weeks for its annual maintenance break. We are excited to say that they will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, October 1. Also, tomorrow will also be First Free Wednesday, offering free admittance for non-members from 9 am to 4 pm.

Opening on Saturday, October 4 is the special exhibit Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action. Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action encourages visitors to try out activities they may have never before encountered and also revisit familiar activities in new ways. Children explore activities such as kung fu, surfing, snowboarding, yoga, and horizontal climbing; the primary goal of the exhibit is to get kids into action by playing and doing things they like to do.
