Our EXCEPTIONAL nanny seeking new family due to our move out of the North Bay!

To Whom It May Concern,

This is a letter of recommendation for our nanny of nearly 2 years, Marta Arrazate.

Marta started with us in early September of 2013, when our little boy was 4 months old. We were looking for someone who would not only watch our little guy and keep him safe, but someone with life experience, a nurturing nature, strong family values, and believed in a strong focus on development. I had interviewed SEVERAL nanny applicants, and Marta was the only one who made me feel safe and confident. We were so lucky to have found her. Below are some quick bullet points about Marta:

• INCREDIBLY tuned in to our son’s safety and well being. All aspects of her care involve incredible attention to detail pertaining to his safety, whether in the house, or outside enjoying daily activities.
• Marta believes in healthy foods, and is more than willing to prepare baby food. Not only is she willing to collaborate with us on the right choices for our child, but she takes the initiative to introduce new options and has taught us a lot as new parents! Baby bottles were always clean, organized, etc.
• Marta’s first language is Spanish, so our son is learning both English as well as Spanish.
• Marta has helped our son along in so many aspects of his development. She keeps him progressing in his language skills, has introduced him to his “next steps” and has even helped to socialize him by finding as many opportunities as possible in our neighborhood (library, park dates daily with other nannies and kids, parties, activities, etc). I have seen her at the park with him and she has a hawk-eye view of everything he does, while also allowing him to get the most out of the social environment he is exposed to.
• Marta has instilled and reinforced good manners in our child.
• Marta collaborates with us and communicates with us about our son’s progress, development action plans, celebrates his accomplishments, and has taken a HUGE part in making him a happy, social, pleasant little boy!
• Marta keeps all common areas tidy and does his laundry as well.
• Marta is always timely, reliable, and flexible.
• Our son learned his ABC’s and numbers 1-20 by the age of 18 months. This had a LOT to do with Marta.
• Our son asks for Marta constantly. He sees her as family as well.
• Marta is looking for full or part-time and specializes in infants and toddlers. She prefers to work in the Marin County area.

We are sad to be parting ways with Marta, but our family is moving out of the area. It is our hope that she finds a wonderful family to work with. She has gone above and beyond for us, and has exceeded our expectations by far. She has become a member of our family and has provided us with so much unconditional love and care for our boy.

Please do not hesitate to call, email or text with any additional questions or concerns. She will be with us through the end of June and is available to work starting July.

Sincerely,
The Stuhl Family
(Rita, Matt, and little Forest)
