The San Francisco Civic Center Plaza Tree Lighting Returns December 6!

Marin Mommies presents a sponsored shout-out from the San Francisco Civic Center Plaza Holiday Tree Lighting, which takes place on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

The annual San Francisco Civic Center Plaza Tree Lighting event returns December 6, 4-7 pm! Add this fun, free, family-friendly event to your holiday calendar. Featuring festive performances, the night’s lineup includes The Tap Dancing Christmas Trees, The Topman All Stars, magician Josh Farenbaugh, singer Doris Bumpus, and appearances by Christmas VIPs and the man-of-the-hour: Santa! 

Also expect “snow” flurries, a toy giveaway for children, festive bites and drinks for purchase, and a Makers Village of free activities for kids and adults!

The event takes place across from an illuminated City Hall in Civic Center Plaza, a wonderful backdrop for a photo. Event begins promptly at 4pm, with the lighting of Civic Center’s 50-foot noble fir by Mayor London Breed at 5:30pm.
