Hello! Our family has recently relocated to Fairfax from Southern California and we are seeking a full-time nanny to take care of our two children, daughter aged 4 and son aged 1, while I work from home. The position will begin in mid-October, and will typically be 40 hours a week. We are looking for someone loving, intelligent, patient yet firm, punctual, tidy, energetic, and creative. Ideally, we are seeking a bilingual Spanish/English speaker who can speak Spanish with the children (the 4 year old already speaks Spanish fluently). We need someone who can legally drive and who is able to drive in my car (with my son) to Terra Linda every afternoon to pick up my daughter. Additionally, we also need someone who can occasionally travel with us for up to a week at a time (including during November and December, mainly to Los Angeles) and who is able to be paid through direct deposit with taxes taken out of pay. We pay all social security, unemployment insurance etc. We also would like the person to help with light housekeeping/laundry/cooking while the baby naps and 4 year old is in school.
