24th Annual Fairfield Tomato Festival

Festival highlights:
*Amazing varieties of locally grown Heirloom tomatoes will be featured in Tomato Alley.
*Back by popular demand is the Food and Wine Pairing at the Solano County Events Center. This separate event requires tickets, which are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Enjoy tastings from local chefs and wineries.
*The ever-popular Tomato Eating contests are open to everyone at the stage at Texas and Jefferson Streets. If you're not up for stuffing your face full of tomatoes, come and watch the fun on both Saturday and Sunday at noon.
*Submit your entry for best Salsa on Saturday. $10.00 entry fee will contribute to the cash prize awards.
*Farmers Market will feature Heirloom tomatoes for purchase.
*A wide variety of live music and entertainment takes place throughout the festival. Enjoy performances from Sapo Guapo, Journey's Edge (Journey cover band), Hey Jude, Rhythm Meathod 4, Whiskey & Honey, the Used Blues Band, Matt Applin & the Midnite Band, Terry Sheets Band, Alive Music Orchestra, and more!
*New this year! Full-sized carnival at the lawn at Jeffesron $ Texas Street
*First Responders Vehicle Demonstrations on Saturday & Classic Car Show on Sunday
*Pony rides and craft activities for the kids.
